ABOUT
Kiana Sosa is a non-union (SAG Eligible) actor who cares deeply about the impact of her work and is motivated to tell rich and nuanced stories on screen.

Kiana went to a Performing and Fine Arts High School where she honed her craft by majoring in Acting and Theatre Production. Although she was admitted into the BFA Acting program at Emerson College, she accepted a full-tuition leadership scholarship from the Posse Foundation to Hamilton College where she majored in Africana Studies and minored in Theatre. After graduating, she performed at the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland, as Camae in The Mountaintop. In 2015-2016, she traveled the world as a Bristol Fellow pursuing a self-designed project focused on Hip Hop, Theatre, and Pedagogy. Shortly after, she earned a Master of Arts from the Gallatin School of Individualized Study at New York University.

​In 2021, Kiana played Meadow, a supporting role in a South African limited series called Pulse. The production was filmed in Mauritius and released as a Showmax original and is now available on BET+. Since then, Kiana has continued to hone her craft by working in lead roles in numerous short and feature-length films focused on drama and psychological horror.

Outside of acting, Kiana is an educator specializing in Learning Experience Design and facilitation. She taught the inaugural cohort of students in the Bachelor's Degree Program in Entrepreneurial Leadership at the African Leadership College in Mauritius.
